You may have heard the rumours, the whispers, even the gossip… so we are now delighted to bring complete clarity and confirm the word from the herd – Wishful Drinking has bought the Lock 81 Brewery!

And what is more we are brewing our first two beers – Lock 81 Pale Ale and the brand new Lock 81 Born Sloppy lager – as we speak, both of which will be ready before Christmas.

We spent many a long night during lock down and in the ensuing months of continued upheaval and uncertainty deciding how best to grow the Wishful Drinking experience and settled on acquiring the excellent beers brewed by Lock 81 as the optimum direction for the Wishful community.

We will be announcing the date of the Lock 81 rebirth event – when we will well and truly wet this “baby’s head” – very soon when the exclusive few will be able to sample these unique reborn brews for the very first time.
