Beers Announced! – NEW YEARS EVE Sat 31st Dec 2022 – Reserve your place now to avoid disappointment!

We have teamed up with one of our favourite local brewers to celebrate the arrival of 2023, Pope’s Yard-!  Barbara & Geoff will be ‘in the house’ and presenting a range of beers to try.

Come and celebrate the New Year with us in an exciting and unique way tasting five phenomenal Pope’s Yard beers each expertly paired with food. There will also be a buffet following the tasing too, for those with hungry appetites.

Beer 1: Lacerta U.S. (American Pale Ale)

Food Pairing: Smoked Mackerel/Salmon pâté on crunchy bread
or roasted red pepper in oil on crunchy bread
or marinated artichokes on crunchy bread
or mini pork pies TBC

Beer 2: Oh Nuts! (Nut Brown Ale)

Food Pairing: Fragata Olives with Lemon

Beer 3: King Street Nights (Black English Lager)

Food Pairing: Good Quality Stilton on crackers
or salted pretzels

Beer 4: Plan Bee (Scottish Wee Heavy with English Honey)

Food Pairing: Sharp & crunchy Extra Mature Cheddar on crackers

Beer 5: Toffee Hammer  (Stout)

Food Pairing: Mini harcuterie TBC

We will also have the usual range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails available during the evening, along with a full range from Popes Yard too.

Event starts at 7:00pm – with the first tasting at 7:45pm.
