Complaining About the Weather?
Complaining About the Weather?
We have spent the past week both enjoying and complaining about the heat, now it’s gone we have to complain about the cold. It’s the British way after all!
But to do it right, all complaining about the weather needs to be done with an amazing beer in your hand. It is the way.
Here are a few we recommend:
Black Iris with their ‘Little Nipper’, ‘Divine Elements’, ‘Endless Summer’ and ‘Let the Juice Loose’
This week’s big haul of beer comes as a great representation of how much we love this brewery!
They have become living legends in Nottingham where the brewery is located and we want to spread it to Hertfordshire as well, especially their live life to the fullest ethos. Each month the brewery hosts a night-long ‘Piss Up In A Brewery’ event that has made them the life and soul of Nottingham.
Although we may not be able to join them, or have our own events at the moment, we can grab a can and take the soul of a party home with us. Helping to keep the party life going until we can all celebrate together once more and complain about self-isolation!
Vocation has stopped by with ‘Hop Skip & Juice’ as well as ‘Breakfast Club 2.0’
Bold beers and punchy pints, that’s the way they make them. Because that’s the way they like them.
Vocation state they are in the business of setting standards, not following trends. Punching above their weight by putting good beer into good people’s fridges, never courting credibility they just let their beers do the talking and boy do they talk!
“We brew beer that we’re proud to put our name on. It’s our Vocation.”
We also have Bone Machine’s ‘Moor Beer’ and ‘Nordic Barbarian Juice’
Yorkshire has a long history of Viking invasions and so it seems fitting that Bone Machine was founded by two Finnish brothers called Kimi and Marko. Named after a Tom Waits album, the brewery is already at full capacity, shipping all over the world and we plan to help it capture Rickmansworth!
However, if you crave something more than Nottingham legends, punchy pints or an invasion of Vikings we have you covered:
