Meet the master behind UnBarred Brewery, the microbrewers from Brighton making amazing Ale’s & IPA’s to cater for all.

On Monday 12th of September, we will be hosting an evening featuring some of the very best UnBarred beer.

The talk and tasting will be led by UnBarred’s founder and head brewer, Jordan Mower.

Jordan will talk about UnBarred, its early days and the journey they have been on over recent years. He will also detail each of the beers featured on the night, including an explanation about the ideas behind them and tasting notes.

Questions are welcomed and general conversation will be had throughout

What is UnBarred?

UnBarred was established in 2014 from the shed of UnBarred’s founder and Head Brewer Jordan Mower. Born of a passion to brew uncompromising and exciting beer, their original flagship IPA won the Bev Robbins Award for the Best Sussex Beer in its first year of production. They soon outgrew the shed and moved onto gypsy brewing, enabling them to grow production and hone their craft, working together with other fabulous breweries.

Since establishing its taproom and brewery in the heart of Brighton in August 2019, UnBarred has doubled its production and embraced the Brighton community that they call home. UnBarred’s core range is stocked nationwide, alongside ltd editions that embody the creativity, passion and freedom that has always defined their core ethos. They love to collaborate with other breweries that share those same values.

UnBarred is inclusive, passionate and adventurous in everything they do, from its beer conception through to its design, brewing and welcoming taproom experience. To celebrate their roots, they love to work with local artists, independent businesses and fellow creatives to showcase the best of the vibrant culture and boundless innovation of the beautiful city they live in.
