It’s been a very long year and a half with all of us by now utterly sick and tired of anything and everything to do with this awful Pandemic.

There is however a little bright light on the horizon which will remain dark at least until Monday 19th July when all restrictions will be lifted and we can start to rejoice in the normal, humdrum day to day routine we had all taken for granted for so long and that is the Rickmansworth Summer Celebration which will be held on Saturday 17th July 12:00 -17.30 in the High Street.

Organised by the Rickmansworth Town Team there will be live music from local performers on three stages. There will also be fairground rides for children and many traders in the High Street will be putting out stalls to showcase their wares. We at Wishful will be offering cool refreshing beer to revellers to takeaway in biodegradable pint and half pint glasses and/or in our usual Growlers. We will also have some exciting special offers on bottles and cans too so there will be something for everyone to enjoy the jollifications with.

We are also more than excited to announce the launch of Wishful’s first-ever beer to coincide with the Summer Celebration and the removal of lockdown restrictions on Monday,

Brewed with the local legends at Lock 81 we are delighted to offer for the first ANYWHERE in THE WORLD WHO THE F*&K is Talusa glorious 6.1% IPA hopped exclusively with Talus at the beginning of the boil, in the whirlpool and then as a dry hop. Available in can and keg get it while it lasts – it’s available in very limited supply!
